JC Products are available in small, glassy beads, crystals, or solution. The release of food grade polyphosphate into a water supply is a well-known chemical method of inhibiting lime scale in hard water supplies. The high quality crystals dissolve slowly into the water.
ANTI-SCALE TREATMENT WITH POLYPHOSPHATES
Polyphosphate treatment is a simple, effective and economic solution for the problem of scale deposits. When dissolved in water, the polyphosphate prevents the formation of calcium carbonate encrustation by acting upon its crystallization, without affecting the hardness of the water. Over time, it also tends to break down existing deposits. Polyphosphates also provide effective protection against corrosion by creating a thin protective film on the surface of the pipes, coils and water heaters.
POLYPHOSPHATE CRYSTALS PRINCIPLE BENEFITS
Used to sequester hardness, inhibit precipitation, and formation of deposits.
Used to form a protective coating on metal surfaces and provide corrosion protection against acidity, alkalinity, and many other mineral salts which may lead to the "rusting out" of water system pipes and equipment.
Used to sequester dissolved iron up to 10 ppm and prevent the iron from precipitating, staining, discoloring, and distasteful flavor.
Offers operator convenience in feeding; only requiring addition of the product at monthly or quarterly intervals; expensive proportioning and feeding equipment is not required.
Note: Polyphosphate Crystals also called Antiscalant Balls for the spere size.
